seems like the writer is the villain here... why so cruel? was there some kind of personal issue in his life as he keeps living? please make your twist a little uplifting.. real life itself is already cruel.. make stories that make emotions at ease at least.. it's worth the time spent when stories are like that.. thanks for the share anyway.. and the freedom for us viewers to make comments..

That is the most cruel twist of faith. The bad guy who killed Kang Saan's father and grandpa is actually Hae Joo's biological father. That makes her illegitimate and she cannot be with Saan because of her father's crime. HJ has had a hard life from the beginning and it looks like she is not going to have one till the end. In Hwa is another victim. It will be a miracle to have a good ending to this twisted tale of a story. I hope the writer can still turn the script into something convincing but please don't give us a cheap ending.

She's still legitimate since her mother was married to her father Yoon Hak Soo and her real name is Yoon Yoo Jin (Chun Hae Joo is her adoptive name which still makes her legitimate when the adoptive family made her a part of theirs). The fact that she is the biological daughter of Jang Do Hyun does not in anyway affect her legitimacy as she is not part of that family anyway. Even if she had not "died" and her mother remarried with her in tow, then she would have acquired a stepfather/stepbrother/stepsister without really knowing that they were related by blood. This also would not affect her legitimacy. As far as public documents are concerned she is the legitimate daughter of Yoon Hak Soo and Lee Geum Hee. The same goes with the adoptive parents Chun Hong Chul and Jo Dal Soon.

I'm fine with the twist, it makes the story much complicated... the writer has the right to do anything because he/she owns it.. there were clues about hae joo being the evil guy's daughter..

I agreed with the rest...Hee Jo shouldn't be the daughter of the greedy man. Script writer lost ideas after the extension. Wasted, spoil the whole show.

Is Hea joo is real?how come that the writer is so cruel to the poor woman...1st she/he killed the husband of her mother as we knew her biological father..2nd she sent to someone who raised and loved her as his own daughter,then the writer took again the life of his father,3rd she /he broke the love story of changhee and hae joo..from episode 1 to 35..she/he ruined the life of this lead character..the worst is jang do yeong is her father...is the writer has a hatred feeling to hae joo?

hahahaha you are right the writer hates its own creation of the main character Hae Joo where you leave the pain that poor child endure and she still wants to be with that evil woman that keeps telling her to leave not once she hugged her or show emotions for her this drama is getting to all of us I see......

Yes, they should just have made the mother get a DNA test to make sure that Hae Joo is Yoon's daughter since she was raped by the evil guy. The positive result for Yoon as her father would have given some respite and relief to the mother and at least some credit to the dead husband to at least have a descendant. The evil guy has all the descendants and they will all breed and have more evil children like him omg! Criminals should not even be given the right to breed (just saying) in this drama. Where have all the good guys gone? Even the father of Chang Hee and Chang Hee himself are evil.

what a greedy evil father who is ready to sacrifice everything even his own blood for money and power. Is there no stopping that kind of a person? 14 years has passed and still counting the years to come he is still young and maybe will live for another 20-30 years that's how long his evil ways will reign

The drama begins with Yoo Jin/Hae Joo being killed but lives after all the many episodes maybe the end should be a tragedy wherein Yoo Jin/Hae Joo dies rather than lives. The reverse of the beginning. What a shame no Hae Joo and Kang San happy ending. The murderer father finally accomplishing his goal - killing his own daughter in the end.

What! 3 fathers? Who? (1) adoptive father - the one whose family took her in (no blood relation) (2) the 1st husband of the mother who was an oil scholar/scientist (Yoon -----) whose brother is the prosecutor. (3) ? don't tell me it's the 2nd husband/first love/murderer making Il Moon and In Hwa, Hae Joo's half brother and half-sister respectively. That is so unacceptable. The mother was unknowingly already pregnant with another man's child when she married Yoon ------!?!?!

No, she wasn't already pregnant with his baby. Her ex lover forced himself on her and impregnated her after she married. My husband would have killed the no good bastard and spent his fifteen years in a Korean prison. I know that there is social consequences for raped women in that country, but please....does 75% of the criminal acts there go unpunished by law or vigilante...just saying.

Wow that's too much that man is really evil... he leaves the girlfriend marries another then rapes her when she's married. Kills the husband for the research data and tries to kill the daughter who turns out to be his own child what the heck! up to episode 36 the evil guy still reigns supreme omg! the drama is becoming too extreme..... what happens now to the Hae Joo and Kang San loveteam? (if you look at the character map in dramawiki the photo of Hae Joo and Kang San is linked with a line with a heart in the middle.
